Evan Rehill

Evan Rehill’s books include The Garden or the Empire (Like Literally Press, 2022) and The Way We’re Used To (Push Press, 2008). His stories have been published in Open City, American Short Fiction, No Tokens, Little Star, Fourteen Hills, The Literary Review, Lumina, and elsewhere. He has taught writing workshops across artists studios, the business sector, and academia for the past fifteen years. He won the Ylvisaker Award for Fiction and a Browning Society Award for Dramatic Monologue. From 2009-2019 he curated the Picasso Machinery performance series out of a Brooklyn storefront with his friends. In 2020 he directed the audio version of Michael McCanne’s play Stalingrad, or Saturn’s Return (winner, New Jewish Culture Award). Rehill teaches at Pratt Institute and Rutgers University. His new novel THE SEQUELS is forthcoming. He lives with his family in New York City.
